Home-appliance cables — washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, range hoods, small appliances — require reliable electrical insulation and, in many cases, EMI shielding to prevent interference with control electronics. OR64 supplies the materials that allow power and signal cables to be built with the required dielectric and shielding properties. Permanent stock in Barcelona with slitting to the required width and spooling in TWS/STS formats.
Electromagnetic Shielding
Aluminium/polyester shields block the electromagnetic interference (EMI) that can affect control signals in appliances with built-in electronics. The AL/PET laminate combines aluminium shielding with polyester mechanical reinforcement. Where higher shielding effectiveness is required, copper/polyester (CU/PET) delivers superior performance. Lubricated version available for high-speed extrusion processes.

Polyester film for layer insulation
Polyester (PET) film provides electrical insulation between cable layers with dielectric strength up to 16.9 kV. High tensile strength, dimensional stability and resistance to water and chemical vapours. Available in multiple thicknesses and finishes: natural, black, milky, hazy and colours.
Separation Between Components
Non-woven polyester for separation and stripping
Non-woven polyester (NWP) acts as a separator between cable components, eases stripping during assembly and improves extrusion by preventing sticking. Short-term thermal stability of 230°C. Natural white colour.
Custom Slitting and Spooling
Slitting up to 1200 mm width with ±0.50 mm tolerance. Spooling in TWS, STS or custom customer specifications. OR64 material processed to specification or toll processing on customer material. Delivery in pad or spool format to suit the production line.
