Mica Tapes for Extreme Temperatures
Phlogopite mica offers the highest thermal resistance in the range: up to 1000°C. Greater flexibility than muscovite, which eases taping of small cross-sections and high-speed processing. Halogen-free and free of toxic gases. Muscovite mica (750–950°C) is the alternative for applications where the test temperature is lower.
Phlogopite Mica (FR-P series)
Maximum thermal resistance up to 1000°C. Greater flexibility for high-speed taping and small cross-sections. Phlogopite mica on alkali-free glass-fibre fabric, silicone binder.

Muscovite Mica FR80M28
Standard grade for zones with lower thermal exposure. Maximum dielectric strength. Better cost-to-performance ratio when the test temperature does not exceed 950°C.

Separator between cable components
Non-woven polyester (NWP) acts as a separator between cable components, eases stripping and improves extrusion. Short-term thermal stability of 230°C, suitable for cables in demanding industrial environments. Seven thicknesses available with permanent stock.
