Custom metal wire rewinding
Respooling transfers metallic wire from its original presentation (orbit, industrial coil) to reels compatible with the target machine. Cable manufacturing lines use standardized dimension bobbins (DIN) that don't always match the wire supply format. Rewinding also allows reconditioning material that has suffered tangles or winding damage during storage or transport.

Target Bobbins
From jumbo coil to DIN bobbin
We rewind metal wire from large format coils to standardized DIN bobbins, ready to feed cable manufacturing lines. Each bobbin is adjusted to the required length and tension.
When to choose each size
The DIN bobbin size determines the maximum wire footage per reel. Larger bobbins (DIN 630) reduce the number of bobbin changes in the armoring line, but require bobbin holders with greater load capacity. Smaller bobbins (DIN 250) facilitate manual handling but increase stops for changeover.
Applications
Galvanized steel wire is mainly used as mechanical protection armoring in power and communication cables. Respooling prepares the wire in the exact format required by the armoring machine.
