PET film for dielectric insulation between layers (up to 16.9 kV), non-woven polyester for separation between components, and insulating electrical paper. Permanent stock in Barcelona with multiple thicknesses and finishes.
Polyester Film (PET)
Dielectric insulation between conductive and semiconductive layers. Available in natural, black, milky, hazy and special colours. Thicknesses from 12 to 125 µm with dielectric strength up to 16.9 kV.

Mechanical separator between cable components. Eases jacket stripping, improves extrusion compatibility and provides cushioning. Peak thermal resistance of 230°C.

Standard solution for data, instrumentation and control cables. EMI effectiveness >85 dB. Triplex version for greater mechanical robustness. Lubricated for easier forming in high-speed cablers.
Copper/Polyester (CU/PET)
For applications requiring direct solderability of the shield or maximum shielding effectiveness. Medical, aerospace and precision-instrumentation cables where cost is secondary.
Aluminium/Polyester (AL/PET)
Standard electromagnetic shield for data, signal, instrumentation and control cables. Simplex (AL+PET), Triplex (PET+AL+PET) and lubricated for high-speed cablers.

Muscovite Mica (FR80M28)
Standard option for IEC 60331. Higher dielectric strength. Ideal for power and safety cables where post-fire electrical insulation is critical.
Phlogopite Mica (FR-P series)
For cables requiring greater flexibility and conformability during taping. Superior in temperature (up to 1000°C). Ideal for complex geometries and small-section cables.
Flame-Retardant Tape
For CPR compliance (Euroclass Cca/Dca) without mica. Economical solution when IEC 60331 circuit integrity is not required. Faster application.
Muscovite Mica FR80M28
Standard grade for IEC 60331 circuit integrity. Maximum post-fire dielectric strength (≥1.3 kV/layer). Halogen-free. Resistance 750–950°C.

Swellable tapes for longitudinal water blocking and semiconductive version with corrosion inhibitor for MV/HV cables.
Standard Water-Blocking (CDZD)
Longitudinal water blocking in LV/MV power cables. Application between layers, over armouring or under outer jacket. Standard solution for directly buried cables.
Semiconductive Water-Blocking (WBSC2S)
For MV/HV cables requiring electric-field control in addition to water blocking. The semiconductive side avoids partial discharges. Corrosion inhibitor protects aluminium conductors.
Water-Blocking (CDZD)
Longitudinal water blocking via superabsorbent polyacrylate. Rapid swelling (≥4–16 mm in 3 min). For buried power cables and critical infrastructure.
