Services for cable and transformer manufacturers
Cable manufacturers require materials in specific formats that don't always match the supplier's standard presentation. Our converting services adapt technical tapes and metallic wires to the exact dimensions, winding formats and configurations needed by each production line. We process both materials from our stock and customer-supplied materials.
Service Catalog
Slitting
Longitudinal slitting of technical tapes to size. Capacity up to 1200 mm width. Tolerance ± 0.50 mm. Pad and spool formats (TWS/STS).
Spooling
Conversion from pad format to spool with traverse winding (TWS) or step-to-step (STS) for helical taping.
Respooling and Rewinding
Format conversion of metallic wires (galvanized steel, aluminum, copper) to DIN bobbins for cable armoring lines.
Mica Taping
Conductor mica taping for fire resistant cables. Compliance with IEC 60331, EN 50200, BS 6387 standards.
