OR64 was founded in 1997 with a clear objective: to bridge the gap between European manufacturers of high-specification technical materials and Spanish cable manufacturers who need these materials in specific formats, with short lead times and real technical support.
This exclusive specialization in the cable sector has allowed us to develop deep application knowledge: we know which material works in each construction, what format each production line needs, and which standards apply in each sector. We are not a general tape warehouse—we are our customers' external technical department.
The combination of technical distribution and in-house processing sets us apart in the market. While other distributors depend on standard manufacturer formats, OR64 adapts materials to each customer's specific needs: we cut, spool, and tape in our own facilities in Lavern.

Our facilities at Polígono Can Bas (Lavern, Barcelona) combine a technical warehouse and processing plant in 3,500 m² dedicated exclusively to cable materials. This integration allows us to respond quickly to orders requiring specific formats without depending on third parties.

Certified management system since 2008
OR64 operates under a Quality Management System certified according to UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015, audited by EQA (European Quality Assurance Spain) with ENAC accreditation. The certification covers all our activities: cutting processing, marketing, distribution of insulating materials, and manufacturer representation.
The materials we distribute comply with applicable standards for each sector: IEC 60331 and EN 50200 for fire resistance, EN 45545 for railway rolling stock, nuclear standards for Class 1E cables, and customer specifications for submarine and high-voltage applications.
